Change country in Google Play Store without adding payment method

You need to change country in the play store if you travel to foreign country and you want to use any  Application of that country. You will not be able to do so if you are using server of your previous country.

You may also need to change country if your google play store runs on wrong country server for any reason. 

If wrong country is selected Google Play Store will suggest you a country based on your IP location and you can change your country by using Net Banking, Credit Card / Debit Card or UPI Id. 

Note : You will not be able to change your country for next 1 year and you can't use selected payment method for 365 days. 

To Change Country by using payment method :

1. Open Play Store App.
2. Select Profile Icon on the top right corner.
3. Go to settings > General > Account and device preferences
4. You will see country and profile

If your Country is correct

If your country is wrong

• If your country is wrong you change it by adding payment but there is another way you can do so without adding payment method by creating a new payment profile.

Change Country without adding payment method :

Follow the following steps 

1. Open Play Store
2. Select Profile Icon on the top right corner.
3. Select Payment and subscriptions
4. Select Payment methods
5. Select More payment settings, you will be redirected to browser and payment center will open.
6. Click on the hamburger menu on top left corner
7. Select Settings, your payments profile will open
8. Click on the pencil (edit option) of Country / Region and select create new profile

• Then Create a new profile prompt will open, Select Continue after reading the prompt
• Choose a country and press continue
• Fill Address and click on save
• Your new profile is created
• Now open Play Store 
• Open Account and device preferences
• There you will see 2 profile, if not try again after 48 hours
• Select your newly created profile with desired country.
