Wi-Fi Router is used to connect to the ISP (Internet Service Provider) through cables or is used to establish a LAN network within a buildings or small offices.
Wi-Fi Router is configured by the internet service provider and you should not reconfigure your router without any knowledge.
How to open router admin page :
- Connect to your Wi-Fi Network to access its admin page
- Open Chrome Browser in your mobile or laptop and enter your router IP Address, i.e. 192.168.1.1 in most of the routers, your login IP is written below your router
- Then the admin page will open up and it will ask for user name and password
> Router settings is opened, some important settings are explained below
Note : Your WIFI password and login password might not be same and you are advised to keep it different.
Reset login Password :
In case you have forgotten your login password then you can reset it by resetting your router, before that check your google account in case you have have saved your password in past.
Try to get the password in Google Account :
- Go google and click on user profile photo on top right corner
- Then click manage your google account
- Navigate to Security tab
- scroll down and find password manager and click on it all the saved password will appear

- Click on it and enter google account password

Note : Resetting Router will erase all your configuration and you will not be able to access internet. You have to reconfigure router settings to connect to WAN (Wide Area Network) and access the internet. For configuring you require you require WAN IP Address, Subnet Mask, Primary DNS, Secondary DNS and MAC Address. You can get this by contacting your ISP.
Reset Your WIFI Router :
- Locate the Reset button or hole on the back of your router.
- Press it using a pin for 15-30 sec and if there is a button long press the button for 15-30 sec
- you will see that all router lights will flash, Stop pressing reset button.
- Power off your router and then power it on again.
- Connect to the WIFI but you will not be able to access internet
- Open the router admin page and login using default username and password
- Then You have to configure your router and connect to ISP connection
- you have to fill all the details that are required, if you are doing it for the first time better contact your ISP and ask for all the details
- When your configuration is completed you can access internet
You can see the devices connected by going to the LAN Status

Copy the MAC Address of the device from LAN Status which you want to block
Click on Add, Enter Filter Name and paste MAC Address and click Apply
